Challenge Attempted

@summerfield challenged me to paint the photo l posted yesterday. I decided to try today but it has been close to a decade since I have done any painting and I couldn't find any of my brushes. I did find these cheap brushes in a drawer and decided to try but the quality is not the same. I also could only find fabric paint which works but.......not as well as oils which is what I am used to. The end result is there is no end result at this time. I haven't given up but have definitely postponed my masterpiece! ;~}

Tools of the trade. Love the colors. A couple of my friends (who have painted previously) have been enjoying the apple pencil on their iPads. They can get really painterly effects. Another switch to colored pencils...actual pencils.

@summerfield I enjoy the painting as far as it went. I think somewhere we discussed the fact that if I start painting again I won’t do anything else at all so I was trying to keep from letting that happen. I will probably get some good brushes and try and finish it and eventually post it
