I spent the day workiing in the yard and part of my effort was placing plants that have been wintering inside. This palm was one of them and I decided to make it a half and half
Hello Katy, this is Jeff. Thank you for the thoughtful and insightful card. You nailed it, I am humbled and thankful for your gentle, sensitive spirit. We are literally living happily ever after. The thoughts and prayers from you and hundreds of others helped to make the miracle of Ann's recovery happen by the grace of God. Words are inadequate to express the deep gratitude we possess but I think our finest expression will be doing the same for others as others have done for us, God bless you.
I had to laugh at you having plants that need to be moved inside for cold weather and back outside when it warms up! Made me think of Mom's geraniums in GC an the "Dahlia toes" and amaryllis in Spokane! My plants live inside or outside! None of this moving business! Great half and half!
Are you sure you are not in California with us.... We have the exact same thing. Brick with a palm tree in front of it. That really could be the front of our house....I could probably, maybe, almost.... take the same picture. But yours would be better. Fun shot!
@dutchothotmailcom I am so glad you do Esther thanks @linnypinny LOL Thanks I could say it was just for you but.........my house is brick so ....... @olivetreeann Thanks Ann It does make a nice contrast. I will leave a note below for Jeff @Dawn thank you Dawn I am glad you like it! @randystreat Thanks Kathy I probably should have taken it earlier in the day but I was still working on it then @wyomingsis If it didn't get as cold here in winter I could leave them out but they are all in pots around the pool anfd most of them wouldn't survive. Perhaps if they were all in the ground they would. Thank you @shutterbug49 So nice of you to say Thanks a lot @madamelucy LOL! I hope you do take the same shot and I am sure yours will be every bit as good as this one! IT really isn't all that remarkable. Your palm is probably iin the ground but mine is iin a pot because it does get cold here in the winter. @monikozi thanks Monika for taking the time to view and comment @gijsje Thank you so much Bep @louannwarren I appreciate that Lou Ann @ludwigsdiana lt makes a nice contrast doesn't it? Thanks Diana
@olivetreeann Jeff, Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I am sorry it didn't occur to me to send you a note until Ann was home but you may have been too distracted anyway. Paying your blessing forward is the perfect response to your gift from God. I am sure it is what He intends us to do! God HAS blessed me in so many ways and connecting me with people like you is part of that blessing,
I could probably only have something like that out for the 4th of July! Wyoming and it's 2 seasons... the other is WINTER and it's been SNOWING ❄ and raining💧 all day long!
@linnypinny LOL Thanks I could say it was just for you but.........my house is brick so .......
