I had the opportunity to volunteer in an orphanage in Africa in 2015 and this wind chime is one of the souvenirs I brought back. It was made in a community of handicapped workers. "Shanga is a social enterprise based in Arusha, Tanzania, employing Tanzanians with disabilities." according to Google Whenever I hear it I am reminded of the wonderful experiences I had there.
What amazing experiences you have had! You never cease to surprise me. Very pretty windchimes! Strangely, at first I saw them as negative spaces — like holes cut into a flat green printed background. I finally was able to see it as a solid foreground figure.
I remember you going on that trip! Imagine that- we've known each other that long! What a great souvenir to bring home and to support the people who made it. Cool half and half!
