I can't remember the last time my gladiolas bloomed. Truthfully, I forgot I had them! I noticed some buds yesterday or the day before but today they were in full bloom. Not sure this qualifies for the technique but I am tagging it anyway!
I have a few that are ready to bloom. All of the rain we’ve had has helped all the flowers this year. This is lovely, your edit looks like sunshine to me. Just beautiful.
@lesip i’m glad you’re glad! LOL! How long can we continue this?! @eudora thank you! I was wondering about that and trying to figure it out but I haven’t come to any concrete conclusions. You know there is never any telling with the weather! @louannwarren That might be part of why they bloomed this year. the other part is I may have pulled them as weeds in the past not realizing they were flowers. I’ve been a little lazy this year getting to the weeding! @wyomingsis how funny! They always make me think of mom too! Thanks for your kind words! @30pics4jackiesdiamond i’ll try and remember to target for that thanks Jackie! @monikozi thank you Monika I thought they were an exceptionally pretty bloom too! @madamelucy i’m glad you think so Terri. I love that they are too toned @koalagardens thank you so much Katrina. @cjphoto I was really happy to see how pretty they are too Chris thank you so much! @gijsje I thought so too Bep @randystreat thank you Kathy I’m glad you think so because I was especially pleased by that myself. @dutchothotmailcom I really appreciate you always taking the time to comment on my photos Esther. Thank you so much. @olivetreeann i’m so glad you like this photo, Ann and even happier to hear that I inspired you to give it a try. Thank you and Yours was amazing @linnypinny thank you so much, Lin. I really appreciate that. @shutterbug49 thank you Debbie! The sunlight was hitting it just right and that is what encouraged me to take the shot. I’m glad you noticed that. @tunia it means a lot to me that you think so, Tunia. @nicolecampbell I love them but I don’t have very much luck with getting them to grow except this year! Thanks bunches Nicole!

By the way, it was your tea cup that inspired me to give this technique a try.
