Forever In Our Hearts by grammyn

Forever In Our Hearts

The first sister trip I went on with my sisters was to New York City. Little did I know when I was taking these photos that in only two short years these landmarks would be gone and our country would be in terrible shock and mourning for the depravity exhibited on this day twenty years ago! As sad as it was I was so proud of how our country pulled together and became unified with none of the divisions we are experiencing today.
Tragedy strikes in so many countries around the world. You can't think too much about it or you would be permanently depressed! Its good to remember this one for the lives lost!

@grammyn Yes- and my son was attending Adelphi University on Long Island at the time, I'd just started seminary in Nyack and when I was a little girl my father worked for a rubber importing/exporting firm that wasn't too far from that area. He watched the towers being built just before the firm moved their offices to NJ.
