Fully Reflecting

Most of you are probably familiar with the watercolor paint that comes in a little tin with several different colors each in its own space in the tray. Did you know it can also come in tubes? This one is called China White and is perfect for the new high key white minimalist challenge as well as for highlighting painted clouds, water drops and eyes
Brilliant! White on white is so hard to get right.

I am familiar with the little water color trays, but I didn’t know it could be in tubes. Interesting image. Love the high key, you still caught the details.

The artist who did the demonstration at our library used water colors from tubes that he squeezed out. I didn't know they came like that. I bid on his painting and got it.

why is it called 'china white'? in acrylic we have zinc white and titanium white but no china white. did it come from china?
April 11th, 2022
@summerfield very good question. Maybe because fine china is usually white? There are the same white in oil paints as your acrylics too
