Frangipani Friend by grammyn

Frangipani Friend

A quick walk outside this morning before church revealed this wee anole basking on the plumeria. He liked it so much he was still there after I went for the camera and allowed it time to warm up in the early morning heat and humidity.
He matches the whole scene perfectly! Good catch.

What a stunning capture Katy, he could not have posed on a better spot! Love the way you got the dark background, I struggle with that ;-)

Nice of him to stay still for you in that uncomfortable looking position.

Wonderful capture! Agree with @ludwigsdiana on his perfect pose. The limited, but oh so intense colors, are fabulous and, as usual, so is the composition.

@olivetreeann thanks Ann. All I had to do was point and shoot!
@milaniet I didn’t have to look twice Milanie
@dutchothotmailcom thank you, Esther. I think he was in a position where he really couldn’t run!

@lynnz thank you so very much Lynn
@ludwigsdiana i’m so glad you like it Diana. I was lucky that there were shadows in the yard for that black background
@kjarn I thought so too Kathy
@wakelys thanks so much, Sue
@30pics4jackiesdiamond he is tiny. The flower was about 2 1/2 cm. The black background is caused by the shadows in the yard.
@pusspup i’m so glad you think so Wylie. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment
