Flying in the face of common concept squashes are fruits because, according to Wikipedia, "In botany, a fruit is the seed-bearing structure in flowering plants that is formed from the ovary after flowering"
For the mundane squash challenge I give you spaghetti, acorn, and butternut squashes
Great still life! I never have understood that fruit/vegetable thing, but I'll take your word for it. I always thought fruits were things kids liked to eat and veggies, not. (Then along came Maria who loves veggies.)
@lesip Aw shucks. I think you might be wrong about that but thanks @randystreat I am so glad you think so. I worried about the acorn squash not showing well in the back @shutterbug49 thanks you Debbie and thanks for the inspiration @ludwigsdiana I really appreciate that Diana thank you @eudora Thanks so much Diane. Well there are general concepts and technical concepts but I like how you have broken it down @kjarn Thanks so much for that Kathy @monikozi LOL! what a wonderful comment Monika @30pics4jackiesdiamond Art? LOL! what a nice thing to say Jackie. The spaghetti will be used instead of pasta and the other two will just be baked and eaten with butter, salt and pepper. Nothing fancy here @wakelys so very nice of you to say @marilyn aren't you so nice? The butternut was already cut for a meal so It really wasn't even close to genius but I am glad you like it @rensala That is such a terrific comment Renee @montserrat
