It Must Be the Sunflower Seeds

I have been trying for a while to get a decent shot of the cardinals as they visit my feeding plate outside the breakfast nook windows. I am a little short on patience but today I planned a bit ahead and was able to have the camera ready whne he made a brief appearance.

He really is a beautiful color. Unfortunately this was not as clear as I would have liked because it is through the window. I cropped it further to get more of the bird in the frame which also created a little more noise to the shot than I wanted. Perhaps I should sit outside and be more patient in the future

@marilyn I had hoped for some thing with a little more clarity, but I’m happy with this one and so glad that you like it as well. Red beaks are some thing I didn’t know about them either until we moved here
