Cutting down those huge trees left my daughter's back yard torn up with lots of grubs everywhere. This beautiful bluebird decided to take advantage of that and invited himself to the feast which allowed me to get this terrific shot of him sitting on the stump. I think he has just spotted something here.
How lovely fav , when I was 5 I was a flower girl for my Auntie she presented me a blue bird locket I’ve had a real hankering to see a real blue bird since then . Thank you 😍
A great photo of this bluebird. I like to see them in my backyard. I guess my "lawn" is full of grubs. They seem to like it here. They will sit still for the longest time then suddenly fly off.
Man, I've been gone a long time, but I have been keeping my 365 account paid up so I don't lose my albums.
Also hoping that by paying, it would encourage me to hop back into posting pics...hmm, hasn't worked yet!🙄😄
But I got a reminder email to renew my 365 subscription, and thought I'd take a quick peek around...and of course I had to stop by and say hi to you while I'm here.🥰
I've been retired for almost 2 years now (hallelujah! 🥳), and living in Arizona for almost a year. 🌵🌞
I'm in a small semi-rural town and I LOVE it. 🤠 Such a welcome change from the insanity of Los Angeles.
Still hard to comprehend that I sometimes shop at a place called Tractor Supply Co!😆😆
But this slow, quiet life really suits me. People are nicer too.😁
I hope you and yours are doing well.
Will try to start posting pics again before TOO long, but no promises.
I love your bluebird photo. I've never seen one in person.
Maybe I can post a pic of the critters than I've seen around my house here...toads, lizards, a rattler (😯), a scorpion (he was IN the house!!)
Yeah...it's REALLY different here!😳
@pasadenarose Rose! I was so excited to see your comment but put off responding until later. Now I worry you may not see my response because I forgot until today.
You have been gone a very long time, but I’m so glad you keep your account current in spite of that. It would be nice if you would come back, especially since you have a whole new set of photos that you can take now!
Isn’t retirement wonderful? I’m guessing living in Arizona must be as well or you wouldn’t be there. It must be a huge cultural shock after Los Angeles especially since you are living in a semi-rural town. I am familiar with tractor supply and they have a lot of good things. so glad the quiet life suits you and not a surprise to hear that people are nicer than they are in LA .
We are all doing well here although aging much more quickly than we would like. You better start posting photos right away. I might be dead before you get around to it.
I’m so glad you like the bluebird photo. I don’t think I had ever seen one until recently myself. I would love to see your critter photos. I actually like toads, lizards, and snakes and it must be crazy to have scorpions in the house!
I so hope you see this and use it as a prompt to start posting again so we can reconnect! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such an informative comment.
