As I was sitting on the porch at my aunt and uncle's house I looked on the shelf in the corner and there was a Mourning Dove sitting on her nest. She seemed unbothered by the activity of the people and dog that were constantly going in and out. When she left we noticed two little babies in the nest.
Nice closeup of the patient parent. They don’t seem to mind human activity at all. There is a pair that was trying to build a nest on our outdoor ceiling fan. They didn’t seem phased by anything we did. So we turned on the fan BEFORE they got the next built and that kep them away.
