It has been some time since I have seen a hummingbird in my yard but they returned this year for some reason. Generally, they are way in the back, so not easy to photograph, but they have recently discovered my feeder and even stay long enough for me to get a decent shot or two.

For us this year it has been very disappointing with very few hummingbirds.
