My daughter had a birthday part for my grandson who is home from military training before he goes to his permanent assignment. After celebrating Thanksgiving with all that food preparation she decided to do something simple instead of birthday cake. These are quite simple to make. He will be 23 but she couldn't get that many candles on the cookie!
Simple? I don't think so. Delicious, especially so to those who enjoy chocolate. I like the colorful sprinkles. Happy Birthday to your grandson. I hope he's not posted too far away but unfortunately none get many choices.

A clever way to celebrate! Actually I think some would prefer the cookies (o: over the cake. Best wishes to your grandson and a great amount of thanks to him for choosing to serve our country!
