While I was outside looking for something to shoot today I happened to notice this empty cocoon from earlier this summer. I just posted a shot today with the butterfly coming out of one just like this. http://365project.org/grammyn/themes-and-comp/2011-08-29 If you look carefully you can see the shape of the caterpillar. It kind of looks like a plucked chicken hanging there too ;.}
Nice... until I read the part about the plucked chicken! :) I really like the sharpness of the cocoon against the blur of the leaves in the background.
