I'm trying to learn manual settings and this was the last setting my camera was on before I turned it on today. I liked the washed out look it gave this scene and decided to keep it. It reminds me of Anna's work but she does it so much better!
yes yes yes!!!)))))) Oh how i Love it, Katy!!)))))))))))))))) I think it is Very beautiful!!))) can't stop smiling as soon as i saw this photo of you))))
very, very pretty!:)
@nyusha LOL!!! I am so pleased by your enthusiasm and approval, Anna! it makes ME smile to know you like it so much! I'm not sure about it being better than yours though. It is a beginning for me!
@debsphotos Debbie, I thank you so very much. It is a style I have been wanting to try and had really no idea how to do it but now know possibly where to start with it.
@grammyn - If you're ever stranded on a dessert island without any photo editing programs at your disposal but you have your camera, you'll know how to get that artsy effect right at the shot!
@debsphotos Funny you should say that because after I took this I thought what is the difference between this and editing it to look like this. Now thanks to you I know!
@grammyn - That's all about knowing the relation of those exposure factors. If you used the same exact settings in different light situations, the results woud be so different. So knowing how they interact and then how they interact with the lighting conditions...oh boy...so much to learn!
Beautiful! See, I have no idea how to get that look... hmm... but maybe if I think about it... and how everything works together... I just might be able to figure it out... I may have to give that a try... :)
@marilyn I think I have an advantage. My viewfinder shows me how the photo will look as I am changing the settings. There is no knowledge required with that! I think you are still way ahead of me.
very, very pretty!:)
