Headless Dutch Boy by grammyn

Headless Dutch Boy

While I was working in the yard today I kept admiring my pansies. Because I was working in the yard today I decided to photograph one of my pansies. After I uploaded it tonight and started looking at it with a more critical eye the purple center appeared to me to be a picture of someone with no head!
I see it, I see it! You're right!

I love it. What a great photo. I am envious as I cannot seem to get good close ups with my camera like this. It does indeed look like a headless person.

@darsphotos I appreciate it Darlene. This one wasn't all that close until I cropped it! That might just be the trick!

@trumpetman Thanks, Mike. I was really close to those wonders today!

I love the white and purple pansies.

@deburahiru I think these are particularly pretty even if they do look like a little dutch boy with no head.

I think that it looks like an angel . . with no head. But, then maybe angels don't need heads . .just arms to hold us! :)

@karenann I like your interpretation. I think I was changing the title as you responded to me.

@nlaurie Thanks you so much , Laurie. I appreciate it!

I agree with Karen Ann, looks like an angle sent to watch over you.

@jimwilson You could be right because I have been blessed!

Gorgeous shot... fab color... and it does look like a poor little headless Dutch boy and/or angel! :)

Not sure if I can see it, but lovely shot and colours

@marilyn Thank you so very much, ma'am!

@peterdegraaff Thanks, Peter so much. If you want to see it envision the purple arms outstretched and the purple legs coming down from a yellow belt ....no head on top. I worried about you being offended.

It's a purple angel!!!! Great find!

@ruthmouch LOL! Thanks, Ruth. I am going to go with that!

haha, that is too funny - now that you pointed it out it is a headless figure. But it is a great floral shot with a headless figure design.
All kidding aside I like it and am so jealous that you can take outdoor garden shots this time of year.

@myhrhelper Thanks so much, Kathy. I would prefer that it wasn't over 70F yesterday so that I almost HAD to get some work done in the yard. I was out there in a tank top!
