Red Jewels

I found these pretty berries while walking through our wilderness park today. They aren't anything special but I just liked their bright color.

I love these berries . . they are the one bright spot in the winter. Pretty with or without snow. Beautiful capture and great dof!

Nice, but did you try a polorizer filter to reduce the glare and perhaps enhance the color?

pretty shot katy...unless I am mistaken..these are Ilex Verticillata....or American Winterberry.....I anyone can prove me right or wrong please do so.....
