As I was leaving the neighborhood this morning I almost wrecked the car when I looked into this rain soaked yard and saw these wild turkeys. I have never seen them in town before.
All of a sudden, 365 has lots of wild turkeys. I've seen turkeys on farms but never wild. I guess I still don't live far enough from the city life. :-) These are great, Katy! They look like they have polka dot feathers!
So that's where my turkeys went!! They don't want to deal with ME again! lol Wonderful capture, Katy. They are gorgeous and love the pov and the colors. :)
@karenann I am so sorry but I just needed them for this shot and now you may have them back!!! I am sure your shot will be much better than this one anyway!
@jennwearing I was so amazed at seeing the turkeys it never occured to me to take a close up of the feathers. If given the opportunity maybe the next time!
@grammyn if you can catch a dragon fly mid flight - you can catch those speckles. The shot you've taken is super but those speckles are drop dead splendid.
@jennwearing I love you for thinking I am that spectacular but that dragonfly was sitting. I definitely will try turkey feathers if I ever see one again!
