As I was leaving the house today this dragonfly obliged me by staying in this pose long enough for me to get out my camera, turn it on and catch a few shots.

You meet the most obliging insects ... believe it or not, I haven't seen a single one yet this year! Still cold here and rained AGAIN! But, I'm chugging along. Great capture here, Katy ....gotta love his cute face!

@karenann Thanks alot,KarenAnn. I imagine once it gets warmer you will see lots of insects. I think if it is raining they stay protected . Think how painful it would be to a little bug to get hit by a drop of rain!
