I helped out at the elementary school today and when I left noticed these bottles fastened to the trees. I was told it was because of the book "Because of Winn Dixie" I guess I should read it so I'll know what this is about!
The color for the october rainbow challenge is green for today.
One of my favorite books! Funny that in the story, the bottles were liquor and wine and beer bottles...because the lady was an alcoholic ....I forget why exactly she tied the bottles to the tree though...something about quitting and when she heard the bottles clacking in the wind it reminded her ...cool pic and you are "the man" to volunteer at school!
