.........I shall wear purple. A poem by Jenny Joseph that is a philosophy I espouse. My children give me a difficult time about wearing purple but since it happened to be what I wore today and this is the color of the day I did a semi- selfie for the occasion.
Please... I am certain is is actually "I shall wear plum... or dark lavender!" I am a total plum and dark lavender lover, but I nearly always lean toward the more reddish versions of it rather that the royal versions! And never with gold jewelry! And preferably with some hot pink or sage greens thrown in... :)
@hankinsphoto This is actually a reference to a Husky(U of W - colors purple and gold) vs. Cougar(WSU) thing... and goes back years to a comment made by the daughter of some friends whom I call "Mr. & Mrs. Cougar." Their daughter had some purple in her room, as all little girls seem to, and as she was giving Marvin & me a tour of her room he commented on the purple and she very firmly told us "it isn't purple, it's dark lavender." That has continued to be a little joke in our family so Katy always "corrects" me when I say something is purple. :)
I like it but will stay out of the middle of this. :)
