borrowing form my dear friend Cathy, I decided to use one of her titles today! Although this isn't a ground HOG it IS a shadow which means six more weeks of winter for us! Since some of our winter days have been in the high 60's (20C) I am not too concerned!
Great shot of your "ground dog!" and I wouldn't be too upset if we had 6 more weeks of winter like yours! I'm pretty disgusted with myself for missing a good opportunity for a "Ground Dog Day" shot. We had lots of sun and I was planning to get a shot, but my "ground dog" held me captive on the recliner this afternoon until the sun was too low for shadows in our yard... and I was too lazy to bundle up and hike up the hill on search of sun! :)
