Fashion Bug

It seems to be feast or famine for me. Either I can't find anything interesting to shoot or there are more than I can post in a day. This bug is one I have never seen before and I shoot a lot of bugs.

Unusual looking beetle. Nice color and detail! I think it's called a leaf beetle.

Lovely bug so much nicer than a snake. Almost got a snake today at the lake but it slithered off before I could turn the kayak.

@digitalrn I was interested because of the color too. Someone said maybe a leaf beetle. i didn't see this exact one when I googled it but definitely beetle of some kind.
