Bokeh has been an elusive skill for me. My friend MaryBeth sent Stu to me to help with my recovery from auto wreck injuries. Here he is in front of my nativity tree featured in my main album today, not only helping with recovery for me but working on that elusive skill as well!!
Katy, so happy to see you uploading such a nice shot and beautiful bokeh. I'm going away on vacation, and I will try to stay in touch. Have a happy Christmas and wish you a much better year, with health and joy. xoxo
I was just plotting a Christmas pic with minions as you were posting this. I was in a store that was selling something I will be using in my pic if it works as planned. Maybe I will try for some bokeh too. Might as well when tree is up. But it is not up yet! I am putting
It up tonight. It is a prelit number and set up upstairs. I will just split it in half to carry it down and then start my favorite part! Ornaments and reminiscing! I have so many ornaments now that I may not put all of them up. Sixteen years ago when we were just married, we had no money to buy ornaments really... We bought gold fabric bows and some plain glass balls. Oh how that tree has "bloomed" the past 16 years. I will try for a bokeh pic too if I can but it is hard! You did a good job.
And he looks so happy to be there with you as you continue on your road to recovery. I bet he is a big pick me up as long as he can stay out of trouble.
@espyetta Thank you so much. I am glad you are feeling well enough to get in the spirit of the season. I think it is funny to hear Phil talk about"minions" now because of you. You continue to touch our lives! Can't wait to see your shot!
@grammyn I like to spread the Minion Madness! My friend from my hometown posted on Facebook tonight that she got a Minion Monopoly game for Christmas! We will have some fun with that when I visit her. haha I put up my minion shots...I worked for two solid days on cleaning house, chores, shopping, errands... I am beat! Just got my tree up an hour or two ago!

I went for a similar shot, but with my Christmas Snoopy.
So glad to see you are shooting and experimenting.
