Thanks! He's a good looking guy in both B&W and color. I don't find the yellow so startling. In the B&W, though, the eye isn't immediately drawn to the bright color, enabling the viewer to concentrate on his face. So, good processing decision.
A little pop of yellow such as this doesn't really seem that wild. But when I see an entire head of bottled yellow on black hair it really looks strange to me. I agree with Mary- black and white was a great processing choice.
