Every year after Christmas people throw their poinsettias out on the street to be picked up by the trash men. Every year I pick a few of them up and bring them home to plant in a planter I keep outside in the summer. I have tried to make them re-bloom and have never had any luck with the process but they still have lovely green leaves all summer long. This is one I picked up this year and it is blooming again all by itself! I have NEVER had that happen before!
