Snapdragon

This is only the bottom half of a snapdragon that I think is especially pretty which I was going to post tonight. Just as I snapped it I saw a dark spot on the petal! As I looked at it I almost discarded it because it was only half the blossom and there was a bug on it. Then I decided lemons and lemonade another shot for the theme!
He's a tiny thing alright! Funny what one sees when they upload ... but this is such a beautiufl color and love the droplets here. Tried going out to shoot today and the wind just about blows the camera out of your hand. Not cooperative weather at all!

I think it has lots of character and interest... the tiny guy makes it wonderful with the rain drops...

It makes it "real". It's still a very pretty picture! It has a lot of character.

@karenann Thanks,KarenAnn. Wind definitely makes it difficult to capture any close up shots. Now would be a good time to try something inside! ;~}

I used to love snap dragons when I was a little girl. I rarely see them around nowadays.

@jennwearing They are my favorite flower because you can make the "talk" if you pinch them right at the joint of the top and bottom. It looks as if there is a mouth that opens and shuts like a puppet.
