The artist challenge this week is Max Dupain who noted for his B&W shots of life in Australia and architecture. He also has some nice shots of magnolias.
@karenann I shot it in on color , changed it to B&W and then darkened the mid-tones. I don't usually go to that much trouble for B&W but it was needed for the artist's challenge! Thanks for the FAV,KarenAnn!
@peterdegraaff I keep thinking about this comment and can't figure out what you mean. This is how it was growing on the tree. I shot it straight on so there is no "angle " to it that I can see.
I love magnolias..beautiful. Have been planning to shot some yself so my mom can see the beautiful flowers that are blooming around here. Might do tomorrow..thank you for sharing. Love itin B&W.
