So....it was either this or another flower shot and I had the flower shot almost loaded when I decided to go for the interesting light and outlines in this one instead.
Love the backlighting against the leaves. Really lovely flare. Great pov, Katy! I almost uploaded a flower shot too but had to take a break from that. It's always where I want to go to tho. I never loved flowers as much as I do now ... since I got this camera.
@karenann Thanks,so much,KArenann. When I started this project I decided to stay away form flower shots because they don'r seem very challenging to shoot! They are always still , unless it is windy, they have gorgeous color, there is an abundance of them and so many varieties that it can always be a "new" shot. Somewhere I lost that and now it seems when I don't have something to pose I always go for the flower! I guess I get lazy.
I felt the same way, Katy ... no flowers for me. That's what I said at first too. And then something changed ...I was drawn to one and then another. I don't know half their names or if their wild or not. I just know that I LOVE them. And the more the better, the wilder the better. Crazy, I know.
@karenann It really isn't crazy because they are SO beautiful but they also aren't as challenging as shooting animals or smoke or water crowns and so there is less sense of accomplishment for me.
@grammyn That's so cool! I guess I didn't necessarily mean effects of editing, but I suppose that's how it's usually used. I just meant awesome effect of the lighting! And it is!
