@cdonohoue LOL! for now it is free but by tomorrow the slum lord will be tearing it down! I didn't know they don't sting! What I read says they can but rarely do! I am not going to put it to the test! ;~}

Awesome colours in this Katy. The ones we get here always build with the same mud so it's wonderfully unusual to see the different mud in the 'same' nest.
I've never even heard of a mud wasp, the wasps here build multi-celled paper nests.

@pasadenarose We have paper wasps too! Glad I could expose you to a new variety! I never really thought about their supply source before but i guess you are right!
