Window Box by grammyn

Window Box

I have not been feeling well today so I am using a shot from my recent trip to Beirut tonight.
This is a window box at the summer palace of the President of Lebanon at Beit ed-Dine. This palace was built by a local emir, Bashir Chehab II about two hundred years ago who also had three other palaces built for his sons in the same area. The only one still standing today is Mir Amin Palace which has been converted into a hotel.
So pretty - I love the stone and the windows.

Love the architectural style so recognizable of the Middle East, and the colors of the stone given by time. That palace must be very pretty.

Those aged stones are very nice and your photo showcases the stones and the windows very well. Are there flower boxes on all the windows?
