Blue on Blue

Very uninspired today but the lilies I got for Easter are still surviving on my kitchen table so a quick shot for the technique challenge. I am not so sure this qualifies as split toning but it is what you get for tonight. I don't have PS so this was done in my camera
I certainly don't know if it's split toning or not, but it is pretty cool looking! :)

I feel your pain!! I took several today and don't like any of them...:( I don't know about split toning. So I have no ability to truly comment. Just wanted to commiserate a little. Lol!

I have no idea what split toning is either :/ but I hear you about uninspired. I took a bunch of shots yesterday with rain drops and stuff and I think I've deleted all of them - don't like any! @spair So for now it's blank and I'll fill in later. Maybe this calls for etsooi!

@tara11 Amen! Sounds like a plan to me!

@marilyn thanks a bunch. Although it came straight out of the camera like this I refrained from tagging it sooc for you.

@spair LOL! so nice to know I am not the only one struggling. Thanks for sharing.

@grammyn You are coming off of that PP high! LOL!! I don't have that excuse, but tomorrow we will have a better photo day! I can feel it!

@tara11 I tried ETSOOI on another shot tonight and even THAT failed miserably.

@grammyn Yep - sometimes you just need to walk away. That's what I did (from editing at least - obviously :))

@spair ;~} yup!
April 21st, 2013
@tara11 LOL! @spair said it best. tomorrow.....
April 21st, 2013
@grammyn @tara11 as Scarlett said, "Tomorrow is another day" LOL! Okay I am done with all of that now. :)

@grammyn LOL! I just feel that some in-camera editing is no different than some out-of-camera editing and that those who don't have cameras that can do in-camera editing get penalized in sooc competitions. As far as tagging sooc... if you have a camera that does in-camera editing then it is by definition sooc.

@digitalrn Thanks, Rick. that is very nice of you.

Split toning sounds like rocket science to me!!!
April 21st, 2013
@ruthmouch LOL! Well if you let the camera do it it is too easy. As I understand it sepia is a type of split toning.
