@ruthmouch one advantage of liviing in a small town but I don't get the awesome street scenes you get!

I wish I could have tray feeders! But between the rain and squirrels, just a losing battle. How fun!

I should add that I have tube feeders!

@nanalisarocks Well I haven't an answer for the squirrels as you have seen but one of the tray feeders has a bottom full of holes similar to pegboard and I drilled some hole in the other one which helps let rain not collect in the trays. I used to have tube feeders too but even they got wet in the rain and for me that made them much harder to clean out.
