Carried the dandelion home from the field by my husband's store, covered it with a paper bag to keep the seeds from blowing off in the wind as we got home, carefully removed this one seed from the rest, stuck it in peanut butter to hold it upright, (I have heard to use modeling clay but hadn't any so had to make do!), spritzed it with water and started shooting. I wasn't happy with the first ones but like this one that I got a little later. Not nearly as wonderful as many I have seen on this site but for me.............I like it.

I really like this shot and great idea to use peanut butter to hold it up to take a photo. I will remember to use that if hubby has not eaten it all. So mad at myself as I saw my first dandelion in our front yard and was going to take photos of it but our gardener came and mowed it down. Will be watching for another one.
