I am not sure if this is an oil rig or gas well rig. It is way up on the top of a hill. We are finally getting some rain, you can see the clouds in the background.
@buccigrossi@happypat@meeyauw Thank you for your comments. The buildings are trailers / mobile homes, that they pull in for the workers to live in / rest while on the job. It runs 24/7 until they hit whichever they are drilling for. They fly a USA flag and a Texas flag on top of the rig. These have been cropping up all over the Fort Worth area. Some are even close to roads. There was a rainstorm coming through and I wanted to catch how the clouds looked.
That one is a gas rig. The stormy sky sets the rig off quite nicely. Sure hope the guys working the upper platforms were able to get down before the storms moved in!
@janek@bill_d@zero_rhetoric@sassykat Thanks for the comments. I thought it was a gas rig, but was not sure. It seems like the oil ones are much larger. I hope they got down off the platforms in time also.
@happypat Pat, I took another look at the mobile homes at the gas rig and they appear to be maybe a beige/pink color. I used a UV filter and it may have brought more of the pink out. The red-ish brown on the hill is dead prairie grass.
