It rained most of the day today and I knew that the water would be running down this little waterfall. We took a little drive so that I could take a picture of the waterfall and to my surprise this large Heron was wading in the water. I do not know what kind he is. Just a few days ago, there was no water flowing over the waterfall due to the lack of rain in this area and partly due to the new subdivision they built nearby.
I really must get a better zoom lens!
