Teenager Mallard

This duckling was born just a few short weeks ago and is now almost grown. She still has some of the downy baby fuzz, but her adult feathers are out now. It is surprising how fast they grow up. She had been "ducking" her head under the water and would have water drops running off her beak.
No photo ops for me today.
