Trying to find some shade

Angus - to change up from horses and Longhorns.
I chose not to crop this close, because I liked the look of the hills beyond this one. Taken a couple of weeks ago (on the 10th). In a shared pasture with the Longhorns.
Thank you for viewing and commenting, it is appreciated. The favs on some of my other photos are also appreciated.
Very nice capture, Linda.

That bull looks quite big and strong. Every being loves some shade when the sun is up and strong.

@sangwann @vernabeth Thank you! Very few trees out there in that pasture / prairie. The ones that are there are small and mostly Mesquite trees.

@lynne5477 There was a whole herd out there with him, but not standing nearby, except for the one lying in the grass near him. Cows and calves, plus two Longhorns.

@ninaganci @craftymeg Thank you! There are lots of "rolling" hills around here, my home is on one. It was mostly rural, country pasture lands, but housing developments keep cropping up all around.

@dannydavies Thank you! I believe it was a bull, there were a lot of cows and calves in the pasture also, plus two Longhorn steers.

@pyrrhula Thank you! It is just a few miles from where I live, a lot of pasture land and ranches. But housing developments are popping up all around.

@lastrami_ Thank you for the nice comment and the fav, I appreciate it. Nature photography is what I enjoy. The one in the grass was well hidden.
