10.52 am: A cold and rainy morning so I took my younger daughter to the Museum of Antiquities to check out a new exhibition on the Middle-East.
We spent over 45 minutes in this room - at first my child was completely mesmerised by a machine playing ancient Arab music when pressing a button. She then went into overdrive when she found out there were little wooden blocks to stack at the other side of the machine (the exhibition is aimed at children). In the background there's a large image of an Afghan mosque.
Gorgeous - she has a halo - I thought that was a room behind her not a picture. Our kids loved the science museum in Amsterdam - child-friendly museums obviously a national specialty!
That is such a sweet profile silhouette of your little one! And I seriously thought that that was a whole beautiful room behind her and not a wall hanging. Well done!
@judithg I've never been to the science museum in Amsterdam but a lot of museums in my country are to some degree child-friendly! Is that different in the UK?
