3.34 pm: Two birds sitting in the huge birch tree that can be seen from our backyard. It's lost almost all of its leaves now and looked quite striking against the autumn sky.
We're still in sick bay with the girls. Our elder daughter is still recovering from the chickenpox and our younger daughter has been running a fever and coughing heavily for several days now.
love it in black and white. I had to laugh because this morning I was sitting having coffee with my husband and spied a pileated woodpecker in one of our trees. I needed my 300 zoom lens so I went to get it and of course by the time I got back it was gone. But the tree had a similar feeling of time passing
