The small town of Monument just to the north of us has a wonderful 4th of July Celebration. It starts with a 5K fun run/walk, then a pancake breakfast, a small town parade, and finally a street fair with music. We really enjoy it. Later we have a block party and fireworks. A fun day! Thank you and Happy 4th!!
This is so cute. So you do have parades everywhere as well as fireworks and BBQ's for that day then? If the 4th is a weekday do you get it off work too?
@annika82 we do have parades, fireworks, and BBQ's on the 4th. If it is a weekday, we do get off. Many people were off the 3rd this year because the 4th was on a Saturday. The 4th is one of our yearly holidays off of work. :)!
