This was my R knee the day after my total knee replacement surgery (1/10/17). My best friend for the next few months is the grey sleeve called the
iceman which will help with the swelling after I do activities.. My orthodpedic Dr. said my knee was the worst he's ever seen. I guess I was lucky I wasn't in more pain. I had a reality check...I guess it always takes longer to get back to normal than you think. Thank you for viewing.
Ah, a knee replacement! You'll wonder why you didn't have it done sooner! I've had both mine done..... I can't believe the difference. (Also had both hips and, last July, a shoulder replaced.) Modern medicine is wonderful. But what is this??? I didn't have this?

I really hope the recovery goes well & you will back trekking about very soon.
I had a foot operation in the Summer & did 12 weeks with plaster casts, surgical boot etc so I can empathise with you...... it will be worth it all in the end.
