I love the Walsenburg area - that was the way we use to travel to GJ - we'd take Hwy 69 over to Salida - that drive was one of our favorites. Lovely sunset colors.
@janeandcharlie Thanks, Jane. My husband is the Scout Master (has been for 10 years) of the troop my boys used to be in. They have long since moved on (8 years since my youngest son turned 18). My husband loves working with the boys and enjoys the other Scout leaders and parents in the group. I think they will have to kick him out before he will ever leave! LOL!
