Marble Mine

This is the Marble Mine in Marble, Colorado. The marble from this mine was used for The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and The Lincoln Memorial. It is now owned by an Italian Marble Company. This is the only marble that has some natural green veins running through it. The green is really beautiful. The mine was first discovered in 1873. Thank you for viewing. Best on black.
