Peace in a Glass by harvey

Peace in a Glass

I was a little burnt out leaving work today, as my current project is trying its best to fail at everything I throw at it. Therefore I knew I needed a beer, and figured it could be the subject of tonights shot. I went for a long 50K bike ride which was great but by the time we ate it was already pretty dark, I had to bump up the ISO terribly high, but egh, it'll do.

By the way this is Triple Karmeleit, one of my favorite Belgian beers. We filled our cellar up with Belgian beers a year ago as the only store that sold them in Aachen was going out of business. Since we dont have a car and the next option is a one hour bus ride to the closest store in Belgium, we literally bought the store out of Belgian beer, backpack by backpack, and trudged it all home. A year later and nights like tonight, it was all so worth it.
Looks refreshing!!!

Ah, yes, I remember the beer in Belgium. Tried to drink our way thru all 350+ varieties! Sad to say, we were not successful!

As one who also "stocks up" when a favoured product is available in this small town, I can understand the necessity to squirrel away a necessity like beer! Given that it's a coveted item, thanks for sharing this golden opportunity with us!
