So all the chesnut trees near work have started dropping chesnuts this week. I thought, wouldn't it be great if I could channel my inner squirrel; bring some home, roast them up and eat them!?! I mean how hard could that be, you've got a Ph.D. Steve, you can figure it out!
(Top row) So I grabbed a few chesnuts on the way home, I sat down to examine my loot and I was presented with a very prehistoric looking shell, I thought, hmm, maybe thats just how the cave men ate them, perhaps you can do it too. Well, that shell didn't taste very well so I abandoned that idea.
(bottom row) So I started pulling at the shell and the pokey perhistoric skin started to come off, and what would you know? Inside I was presented with a nice little chestnut ready for my roasting and consumption!!
Steve I know there are chestnuts whichare good to eat, then there are what's called (horse chestnuts) which are not sure hope you got the right ones. By the way, I like the pics, and story. Make sure you hide some away for the winter months---
Haha, great story. I walk by a chestnut tree every day and the oter day one woman asked me if it's an apple tree with lots of apples:) Your collage is super funny.
Hahahaha, I love it!
