I was excited to give another toy I got in NY a go today, I bought a 10-stop neutral density filter, and I wanted to get some of the main square at a busy time and let the super long exposure erase all the people from the shot. Although I was stupid and didn't check my settings before I shot, but I still had the RAW turned off from messing with the camera yesterday! So a great shot was really lmited in my post-processing options. I guess I will give this another go in the near future and check my settings before I do a 15 minute shoot, which should be common sense.
This was a 2.5 minute exposure taken at aperature 18 ISO 100.
Ooh, how cool! This really came out wonderfully! I hate it when I have a specific shot in mind, take the time to get it all set up and get the shot, only to realize that I've done something stupid (like not having my memory card in the camera) or left my camera on the wrong settings.
