First of The Year

The weather had turned in Aachen at the end of last week and it creeped up into the 50's. Anne and I got out for our first bike ride of the year on saturday. It was great to get out there again. This was take near Viljen, NL.

We also did a progressive dinner with our friends in Aachen on saturday night, so I was busy preparing hummus, babaganoush and tabbouleh salad the rest of the day until we had to the first house at 6pm. It was a great night though when all was said and done.

I have never before heard of progressive dinner. Now I read about it in Wikipedia. I learned something new again! Oh, it will take some time before I can bike in the woods. We have some 60 cm snow maybe even more. I never bike on snowy roads. Then I prefer skiing.
