This is Anne, we went for a more adventurous hike on saturday, this is after about an hour of climbing some snowpack up to this plataue. The original plan was to push on and bag a small peak, but it was unseasonably cold and with winds at least 20mph we were frozen and turned back after having lunch up at this height. We're going to try this hike again in the summer
It looks cold!! I remember the many years ago that I visited my cousins when we drove through Rocky Mt. National Park in August and even then it was chilly!
