Old-new river

Not so long ago, such watercourses in the city were buried and run in pipelines. Fortunately, the approach to water and nature has changed a lot. This place is back to nature.
What wonderful processing on this

Lovely pastels colours you have caught here with a variance of a winding stream rather than pathway.

Great landscape shot. This looks like it belongs in a nature book!

In Germany, they used to "straighten" all flowing water into lines but now there's a movement to return them to natural flow, too. I like how this photo tells a story.

@30pics4jackiesdiamond I don't really recommend drinking it. This small river is only exposed in its final stretch in the forest. Here, where it moves through a housing estate, it looks more like a canal. Perhaps better times will come for it.

@houser934 It is a year-round river, but in times of drought it has little water.
